CPYO Concert: June 10
We played Don Quixote feat. Ms. Bonnie Hampton, and it was pretty amazing. It was also awesome to see and hang out with college people back for the summer!

UPENN
After Princeton, we headed to UPenn and came late for the campus tour so we just walked around and took lots of pictures. huhuhuha
PRINCETON
oh man, I might be in love with Princeton. My mom and I drove down from New York to New Jersey yesterday so we could visit Princeton in the morning. Princeton has the most beautiful campus I have ever seen, ever. All the buildings were like castles, literally. There was also the prettiest chapel on the campus too. Most importantly, they give lots of money for financial aid, and there’s also a lot of majors (obviously) to choose from. It’s official: Princeton is my dream school.
NYU & the toy store!
Yesterday, my mom and I toured Julliard and Columbia University and both colleges were amazing. Julliard really made me feel like, “Wow, this is the best music school in the Country and maybe even in the world.” Studying there would be unreal. Columbia really stood out to me because I just felt a sense of community and unity amongst the students and how the campus is designed. I think that’s really important. The campus was really pretty too. The acceptance rate to Columbia is only 6%, but seeing Columbia really motivated me to work hard in the upcoming school year and do my very best in not only school, but also cello and music and get involved in everything a lot more.
Today, we went to NYU and I liked this school. A lot of people say that there’s no campus and there isn’t, but it seems like the Washington Square Park is like the main quad for the students so I feel like this could be the potential campus. I think I could be very involved in NYU and take advantage of the city, same goes for Columbia. After, we went to this toy store on Fifth Avenue, and it was fun.
I really like New York; there’s so much life and always something to do 24/7. All the buildings, the food, the streets, the people, and the lights… I just can’t get enough. I really hope to live here someday.
AT THE AIRPORT BEFORE BOARDING ON THE PLANE TO NEW YORK! I’M JUST SO EXCITED.
see y’all in a week!
